Brooklyn’s Kris Kasanova has been on his grind for a heavy minute. Today, he just dropped the visuals for the stand out track from his mixtape Warpaint, “Oh Lord.” I have to admit, this music video has so many polarizing aspects such as the juxtaposition of drugs and religion to the gritty filters used on the video, that it’s hard to only watch it just once. Couple that with Kris’ implicable flow and wordplay, you have yourself a recipe for a successful piece of media that will grab the attention of the masses. Props to Alex Haldi on the direction of the video. Be sure to check out the rest of his music here: DOWNLOAD.
This is my directorial debut, I am pretty stoked about everything. Thanks so much to everyone who helped make it happen, and everyone in advance who will help push it to the masses. Its provocative (read NSFW : Language, Drugs, Blood, and Jesus).
The second being this awesome (NSFW) video for the new Scissor Sisters song “Invisible Light” I have to assume its by the same guy who did this awesome (NSFW) video. I wanted to hate it but I couldn’t turn away. Haunting, wierd, ADD, and dope.
